Marketleaf Practical AI marketing intelligence for in-house teams and small agencies.
Issue 1 · Vol. 1 · Est. 2026 The AI marketing trade, weekly.
Audience: Agencies running diagnostic engagements; in-house teams running quarterly health checks; consultants modernizing their delivery layer. Cadence: Quarterly for active programs; as-needed for diagnostic engagements. The routine is designed to run in days rather than weeks.

Purpose

Replace the legacy SEO-audit deliverable — a static PDF produced by a consultant over six weeks — with an agentic routine that runs in days, surfaces findings on a card-based review surface, and generates the prioritized work list directly.

Steps

  1. Scope and access

Define the site scope, query set, and competitive set. Provision access — site analytics, search console, structured-data access — to the agent layer.

  2. Crawl and inventory

The crawl agent inventories the site's content, structure, internal-link graph, and existing schema. Output is a structured representation the downstream agents consume.

  3. Entity-layer audit

The knowledge-graph audit agent checks the brand's representation across knowledge graphs, scoring confidence and surfacing missing or malformed entity attributes.

  4. GEO surface measurement

The citation-rate panel samples the query set across the major answer engines and produces a baseline citation count and context analysis.

  5. Findings synthesis

A prioritization agent synthesizes the findings from each specialist into a ranked card stack. Each card carries the finding, the evidence, the recommended remediation, and the estimated effort.

  6. Human review and sign-off

A senior practitioner reviews the card stack, edits or de-prioritizes as appropriate, and signs off on the final work list. The work list becomes the input to the next routine.
